Cleaning

The Bed Cover Our dog bed covers are machine washable. Unzip the zipper lining to remove the memory foam base and base liner from the cover. For the PupLounge, make sure to remove the bolser cushion from teh cover, as well, as the bolster is not machine washable. Wash the cover in cold water on the gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat OR hang to dry. A damp cloth can also be used to remove stains from the cover. This includes all PupRug Beds, the PupLounge and the PupDream.

Cleaning the Foam

The memory foam is not machine washable, but there are several ways to clean it. To freshen it up, lightly sprinkle baking powder on the foam. This will give the foam a fresh smell. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Then vacuum the baking powder with a vacuum cleaner, which can also remove pet hair from the memory foam.

To remove a stain, use a damp cloth with warm water and a small amount of dishwashing soap to rub the stain in a light circular motion. Let it sit for 10 minutes and press out as much moisture as you can without "wringing out" the foam, because wet foam can tear more easily. To dry the memory foam, leave it to air dry. Since the foam absorbs a large amount of water, this may take a few days to fully dry.

Cleaning The Memory Foam Base Liners

We don't recommend washing the base liners in the washing machine. To clean the liner covers, use a damp cloth with warm water to remove stains.

WORDS FROM OUR COMMUNITY

"I was looking for a bed that did not read aesthetically like a dog bed since it has to be big for my two doodles that like to sleep together both of them close to 70 lbs. This pup rug was the perfect choice for my sense of design and my pups love it."

"Our dog loves his new bed! It’s so trendy and looks more like decor than a dog bed!"

"This bed is such good quality! I was honestly shocked. It fits both of our 60lb dogs with a little extra wiggle room. Definitely worth the money!"

"I have used these in different rooms, on the couch, floor, and the car. My dog loves them. I also put one on my old recliner, it's so comfortable and looks great, like a sheep skin. I think I'm going to keep it on the recliner for me!"

"I was skeptical in the beginning, you just never know what you’re truly going to get when you purchase stuff online. These beds are AMAZING! the second we put them on the ground the dogs were addicted. Thank you!"
