State Trooper & His K9 Partner Rescue Abandoned Puppies

Facebook

Three helpless puppies abandoned in a remote dumping ground were given a second chance thanks to a state trooper and his K9 partner.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper Jordan Ennis was driving in Southwest Atlanta with his K9 partner Tek. According to a Facebook post from the Georgia Department of Public Safety, Ennis and Tek were in a known stolen car dumping ground in an abandoned subdivision when Ennis spotted three puppies that had been dumped in a briar patch.

Since Ennis knew nobody was coming for the stranded pups, he loaded them up in his patrol car. Tek even made sure to comfort and look after his fellow canines once the puppies were boarded into the car.

The officer and his K9 partner brought the puppies to Headquarters where they were all promptly adopted by Georgia Department of Public Safety staff.

“A Trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day,” read the Facebook post from the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Truer words were never spoken! Pups make the world a better place.

We are glad these pups were given a second chance at the lives they deserve thanks to Trooper Ennis and his canine pal Tek who came to the rescue along with the wonderful Georgia Department of Public Safety staff who adopted the pups without hesitation.
