 5. The Hideaway Retreat (Navarre, FL)

The Hideaway Retreat is perhaps the best spot for dogs on this list, so we saved the best for last! This 2022 Campspot Awards Winner is one of the Top Sites for good reason.

First, it’s all about the vibe. Made to be a vintage-style campground, The Hideaway Retreat “is how camping used to be and how we feel we should be”. It features oak and magnolia shade as well as natural RV sites that give you that “old Florida” feel. You’ll feel right at home with the many options for dog-friendly campsites here. Whether it’s a water view, waterfront, or tent site, you can set up camp with your doggo in mind!

All of our top five pet-friendly campgrounds have dog parks. Yet, The Hideaway Retreat takes the concept of a dog park one step further. Their private beach “Hidden Beach” is also commonly known as “Pooch Beach” - and your fur bud is welcome to enjoy the entire beach with you!

Often referred to as “Florida’s most relaxing space”, you won’t regret choosing this destination for your dog-friendly camping trip!
